Moving Forward

Have you ever had to move? Was it hard? Did everything go as planned? Moving can be hard. Needless to say when the times come we have to pack up all our things, and make sure everything is in its place and that every box is packed just right. The only problem is we dread it, agonize over it and ultimately would rather not do it.  You probably thought it would have been easier just to stay where you were.

Moving requires that you get up and take action. The end result is a new destination.  But when the time comes for you to finally move to that destination you don’t want to do it and make excuses as to why you can’t do it. Why? We become fearful, scared and insecure. Many times it’s because we think we may fail or don’t believe in ourselves.  The truth is, you are in your own way. When you realize that you are in the way, all you need to do is get you, out of the way and move forward. God has purposely placed in your life a destination that you must obtain.  But to get there you have to allow him to take you there.

Moving forward in life can be hard. Especially if the move is going to require that you get up and do something. That move may also be too difficult and you don’t want to bear with what the move will do to you mentally and physically.
