What’s your priority?

What is it that takes precedence over everything else in your life? Whatever that is, is your priority.  Many of our priorities never become or take precedence because we don’t make the time to do so.

On the wake of each day our minds begin to tell us the many things we have to do.  We have countless agendas of the many tasks that need to be done but by the end of the day, nothing seems to have been accomplished.

Why? You didn’t prioritize.  Many of the things that need to be done in a day can be prioritized. How do you do that? Simply make list. As simple as it may sound, a list will help you organize and prioritize the things that need to be done.  A list will also help you stay on track.  Not only will you get more done but you will feel at ease when you do. You will feel less stressed by knowing the things you have accomplished.

Because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

James 1:3-4

What is your motive?

Have you ever wondered why some people always seem to get things done? Or maybe you’ve wondered why others around you are meeting and exceeding their goals? Could it be that they have a motive? What is your motive?

A motive is something that causes you to act. It is the very thing that inspires you to do what you do. Every morning you get up and you go to work. Why? Because you know that if you don’t work, the things that you need or want will not be taken care of.

So why is it that dreams aren’t fulfilled?  You guessed it, Motive.  If you don’t have a reason for fulfilling your dream, then chances are you won’t make that dream come true.  Your motive is your motivation for working towards that unfulfilled desire.

But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble, and good heart, who hear the word, retain it and by persevering produce a crop. Luke 8:15

Remember everyday is a new day to begin again.  Your life begins today……

Task

  1. Find your motive
  2. Believe in yourself
  3. Commit to the dream
  4. Don’t let others kill your dream
